Vans Shoes donates 258 pairs of shoes, 120 shirts, 98 pairs of socks, 30 pairs of pants and 26 hats to Beyond the Surface. Beyond the Surface is splitting up and distributing the items to our three different sponsored centers! This is a really exciting donation as it marks the beginning of a new partnership between Vans Shoes and Beyond the Surface! This coming August, Beyond the Surface is will be visiting the Umthombo Surf Club in Durban, Surf Africa! I am so excited to finally meet our program participants! I will be filming and photographing the trip to make a second Beyond the Surface video. Really exciting stuff.

Beyond the Surface headed to the Action Sports Retail Tradeshow on Saturday with a task in hand: get sandals for our kids! We had much success and a ton of interested corporations! Check out the flier below! We will make updates as this venture develops further!
